Bluebox advises on sale of Global Automatics

Bluebox Managing Partner Paul Arora advises
Global Automatics on its sale to
agta record Group.

Bluebox is pleased to announce the sale of Hemel Hempstead-based Global Automatics to agta record Group. Global, owned by Derek Thomas, has been trading since 2007 successfully designing, manufacturing and distributing automatic door operators and related accessories. Derek Thomas will be remaining with the business following its disposal and will continue to lead the business.

The acquisition will allow Global to increase its service offering, benefitting from both the technical and commercial back up of an international group with an excellent range of products. The Switzerland-based agta record Group is one of the world leaders in automatic door systems, with a consolidated turnover of €290 million and a market capitalisation exceeding €600 million.
