Bluebox Advises on the Sale of Pure Communications Group to MCI Group

Bluebox is delighted to announce the sale of Pure Communications Group (“Pure”), a leading experiential and strategic communications agency, to Swiss-based MCI Group (“MCI”), a global marketing and communications group. Pricing and other deal terms have not been disclosed.

With over 20 years of experience, Pure creates exceptional experiences far beyond event production for a range of blue-chip organisations. In recent years, the business evolved its offering to include strategic communications and creative production. As such, in addition to events management services, Pure provides expert communications strategy, content design, and video & digital services.

The acquisition by MCI strengthens its presence and agility in London, and positions the group as a more consultative, insight-led partner for its clients.

Charlotte Gentry, Founder of Pure commented:

“This transaction marks a defining moment in Pure’s journey. What began as a boutique agency built on strategic thinking and brilliant execution, is now evolving into something even more powerful.  Having met a number of advisers at the outset of this journey, I am delighted to have chosen the team at Bluebox to guide me through this journey. Their expert advice was invaluable during the process, and they have secured a great deal that met all my objectives whilst also ensuring that the business found the perfect new home to flourish.“

Jon Rich, Managing Director at Bluebox added:

“We are delighted to have advised Charlotte and the team on this exciting transaction. Pure is an exceptional agency – dynamic, innovative and trusted by its clients, and with MCI, we are confident that the business is in good hands. This deal highlights our ability to identify the right international strategic partner, and deliver a successful outcome for both Charlotte and the management team. We wish the Pure team every success as part of MCI.”
