Audley agreed joint venture with Apache Capital

Audley, the UK-based builder of retirement villages, has agreed a joint venture with Apache CapitalThe Daily Telegraphreported. The JV’s first project will be a GBP 125m (USD 165m) high-end retirement village in south London, where work is scheduled to begin early in 2018.

Audley was brought in by Apache Capital, which has already gained planning consent for the development, the item reported. Apache managing director Richard Jackson said the JV is part of the company’s ongoing strategy, adding that he hopes to increase Apache’s exposure to retirement living assets.

Further schemes together are planned by the two groups in coming years, with Audley developing land provided by Apache, the item reported.
