Staff Interview: Archisha Sanyal

October 29, 2025

Meet Archisha Sanyal, Bluebox’s new Marketing Assistant. We sat down with Archisha to learn a bit more about her background and what drew her towards a career in Marketing at Bluebox, as well as finding out a bit more about her outside of work…

What was your background before joining Bluebox as a Marketing Assistant?

I moved to London in 2024 to start my master’s degree in media and communications at the London School of Economics. This period of being a student and exploring London was incredibly fun and I also got to work on various media focused projects during my time at the LSE. At my core, I am someone who enjoys storytelling, and as such connecting with various people from diverse backgrounds and getting to live in the bustling heart of Central London was a lovely experience.

What were your motivations behind choosing a career in Marketing at Bluebox?

I always liked storytelling and as such a career in marketing was always very appealing to me. Prior to my time at the LSE, I worked as a marketing analyst at a tech multinational and found my calling towards the field. When the job advert for Bluebox popped up on my LinkedIn, I found the role very attractive for a fresh graduate like me. The role allowed me to train and grow my skillset as a marketer whilst giving me exposure to a completely new industry. As such, I knew I had to apply.

If you look ahead a year, what are you most hoping to achieve—professionally and personally?

Professionally, I hope to have developed a more strategic approach to Bluebox’s marketing, driving stronger engagement across our social media channels and website. I’d also love to be involved in hosting some flagship events that help elevate our brand presence.

Personally, I hope to have found a sense of peace and fulfilment, and to have made progress on my dream of hiking across the UK.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have ever received has been ‘taking one moment at a time and finding peace in it’. I have always been someone who likes thinking about the bigger picture, but sometimes it is quite helpful to focus on the smaller things and think of the bricks that make the foundation.

Rapid fire

  • What’s your biggest fear?

I’m afraid of heights, though, ironically, I have no problem flying. A bit of a contradiction!

  • Are you a coffee or tea person?

I do not have a preference and love both.

  • Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I am a night owl turning into a morning person.

  • What’s your favourite movie?

As someone who loves films, this is a bit tricky, however currently it is Wong Kar-wai’s ‘In the Mood for Love’.

  • Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

My parents, for dreaming big and reminding me that the world is full of endless opportunities.
