Staff Interview: Ben Brookes’ First Year at Bluebox

Friday, 20 February 2026

At Bluebox, we believe our people are central to delivering outstanding outcomes for business owners. As a leading mid-market corporate finance advisory in London, our team works closely with founders and management teams across a wide range of sectors, supporting them through complex transactions including business sales, exit planning and M&A advisory.

This month, we’re celebrating Analyst Ben Brookes’ first anniversary at Bluebox. Over the past year, Ben has gained hands-on experience across the deal process, working with business owners preparing to sell, supporting transactions, and contributing to the firm’s growing reputation as a trusted corporate finance boutique in London.

In this interview, Ben reflects on how his role has evolved, the highlights of working in mid-market corporate finance in London, and what makes the Bluebox team culture so unique — along with a few rapid-fire insights into life outside the office.
