James is one of the UK's leading entrepreneurs who has grown and successfully sold a significant number of businesses. James is the Chairman of Bluebox and is involved with day to day operations with a number of clients as well as guiding the strategic direction of the business.
In an entrepreneurial career spanning over 30 years, James is presented with investment opportunities on a daily basis, but is all too aware of the risks of business owners approaching a sale or fund-raising exercise unprepared.
Having seen far too many 'professionally managed' sale processes collapse as a result of problems that could so easily have been avoided, James is passionate about the importance of preparing for the big day. He is determined to raise awareness of the importance of thorough planning in advance of a sale to improve both value and saleability.
